Our Crawling and Crunching course includes two interactive and informative sessions, tailored to parents of 7 month – 12 month old babies, and covers a range of topics.
This course includes two sessions, held Friday 6th May (Crawling) and Friday 13th May (Crunching). Both sessions run from 10am – 11:30am in the OPC Rooms at Rawene Centre (or via Zoom depending on Covid restrictions).
The Crawling session, hosted by Wendy Perera, a qualified Early Education Teacher and movement consultant, explores different styles of crawling, how to encourage movement, ACC recommended home safety, and books and toys to stimulate a developing mind. It also includes Early Childhood Education options.
The Crunching session, hosted by Priscilla Natalia, a registered Dietitian and paediatric nutrition specialist, provides parents and carers with evidence-based nutrition information focusing on introducing age-appropriate solids. Topics also include specific nutrient requirements, allergies and intolerances. This is an opportunity for parents to ask nutrition related questions in a friendly, yet professional forum.
Parents of younger babies are most welcome to attend, as are the little ones!
Cost:
- Parents Centre members: $40 (incl. GST) for both sessions
- Non-Parents Centre members: $50 (incl. GST) for both sessions
Venue:
All classes are held in the Onewa Parents Centre rooms in the Rawene Centre, Birkenhead (or via Zoom depending on Covid restrictions).
