SUMMARY:BIRKENHEAD Baby and You Course May 2026
DESCRIPTION:Our Baby and You course is the ideal time to ask questions and deal with issues as they arrive whilst helping you to understand and cope with your role as a new parent. Baby and You is for parents of 0 – 8 week old babies and is held over six weekday sessions which you attend with your baby. \nThis is a very popular course and is presented by qualified professionals who run each session as a relaxed discussion group. Because all babies are unique with varying needs and personalities\, this format gives you the opportunity to discuss your particular situation and challenges and receive tips\, advice and potential strategies. \nTopics covered include: caring for a newborn including feeding\, sleeping and soothing; first aid and CPR for babies and toddlers; life changes and looking after yourself; development and play including stimulation for baby\, age appropriate toys and key milestones of baby’s growth and development; physical recover from childbirth and safe return to exercise\, baby massage. \nThe May 2025 Baby & You course runs 4th May to 15th June 2026 (Six sessions for parents of babies due around March/April 2026)\, at the Rawene Centre. All sessions run 10am to around 12pm. \nSession Dates: \n\nMonday 4th May – Infant First Aid\nMonday 11th May – Eat\, Sleep\, Soothe\nMonday 18th May – All About You\nWednesday 27th May –  Mum Movements (10am-11.30am)\nMonday 8th June – Physical Development & Play\nMonday 15th June – Baby Massage\n\nNo class Monday 1st June due to Kings Birthday. \nCost:\nThe Baby & You course is included as part of our New Parents Package. SUMMARY:BIRKENHEAD Baby and You Course August 2026
DESCRIPTION:Our Baby and You course is the ideal time to ask questions and deal with issues as they arrive whilst helping you to understand and cope with your role as a new parent. Baby and You is for parents of 0 – 8 week old babies and is held over six weekday sessions which you attend with your baby. \nThis is a very popular course and is presented by qualified professionals who run each session as a relaxed discussion group. Because all babies are unique with varying needs and personalities\, this format gives you the opportunity to discuss your particular situation and challenges and receive tips\, advice and potential strategies. \nTopics covered include: caring for a newborn including feeding\, sleeping and soothing; first aid and CPR for babies and toddlers; life changes and looking after yourself; development and play including stimulation for baby\, age appropriate toys and key milestones of baby’s growth and development; physical recover from childbirth and safe return to exercise\, baby massage. \nThe August 2026 Baby & You course runs 5th August to 9th September 2026 (Six sessions for parents of babies due around June/July 2026)\, at the Rawene Centre. All sessions run 10am to around 12pm. \nSession Dates: \n\nWednesday 5th August – Infant First Aid\nWednesday 12th August – Eat\, Sleep\, Soothe\nWednesday 19th August – All About You\nWednesday 26th August – Physical Development & Play\nWednesday 2nd September –  Mum Movements (10am – 11.30am)\nWednesday 9th September – Baby Massage\n\nCost:\nThe Baby & You course is included as part of our New Parents Package. However\, subject to availability\, parents who didn’t do a childbirth education course at Onewa Parents Centre are more than welcome to do this course. The cost is $165 per person/couple. Partners and support people are also welcome to attend (max 2 people/ticket). \n

DESCRIPTION:Our New Parents Package is for expectant parents and their support people to prepare for the arrival of a new baby and becoming parents. Our highly regarded classes are run by qualified\, trained childbirth educators in a relaxed and nurturing setting. \nThis package starts in August 2026 and is for babies due in November 2026. The Childbirth Education course runs over seven weeks on Thursday evenings. The course will run from  Thursday 13th August  to 24th September 2026.  All classes run  7pm-9pm\, at the Rawene Centre\, Birkenhead. The Baby and You course runs over six weekday sessions starting in December 2026. \nCost:\nOur New Parents Package costs $350 (incl. GST) and includes: \n\nAttendance for two people (i.e. one couple) at the 7-session  Childbirth Education course (evenings).\nAttendance for two people (i.e. one couple) at the 6-session Baby & You course (week day mornings)\, with a start date in December 2026.\nTOTAL: THIRTEEN Sessions of New Parent Education Antenatal & Postnatal\nA one year membership to Onewa Parents Centre.\n\nVenue:\nAll classes are held in the Onewa Parents Centre rooms in the Rawene Centre\, Birkenhead\, North Shore\, Auckland. \nTerms:\nBy registering my attendance I acknowledge that there is a non-refundable fee of $75 if I cancel within two weeks of my booked course commencing\, and once the first session has commenced there is no refund. \n  \n

The Baby and You course runs over four weekday sessions. \nCost:\nOur New Parents Package costs $285 (incl.
